Experienced KS2 English Lead Teacher, Saltley

Tradewind Recruitment is working with an inner‑city Birmingham school looking for an Experienced KS2 Teacher who will also serve as the English Lead. The role is for the full academic year, with the possibility of a temporary to permanent placement for the right candidate.

• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement school‑wide initiatives such as extracurricular activities, school events and parental engagement programmes.
• Engage in continuous professional development, staying up to date with the latest teaching methodologies and pedagogical approaches.
• Contribute to the wider school community and actively participate in staff meetings, training sessions and school improvement activities.

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Education or a PGCE.
• Proven experience teaching in Key Stage 2.
• Prior experience as an English Lead.
• Passionate about education and dedicated to providing a high‑quality learning experience for all students.

• Year group will be either Year 3 or Year 4, but is negotiable.
• Pay is in line with the main pay scale with Teacher Leadership Rating (TLR).
