Location: Mainly remote with occasional travel to Bristol & Birmingham for meetings / workshops.
Duration: 3 months initially. Rate: £650 – £750 per day (inside IR35).
Our client is embarking on a major transformation, moving from a legacy data platform to Microsoft Azure to significantly improve data accessibility and capability. They are seeking an experienced Data Architect to lead and shape this journey.
Key Responsibilities- Analyse the existing legacy data landscape and dependencies.
- Define and own the end-to-end data migration strategy to Azure.
- Design scalable data models and target‑state architecture.
- Create clear, actionable migration plans and approaches.
- Provide technical leadership and steer the migration project in the right direction, working closely with stakeholders.
- Proven experience as a Data Architect or similar role.
- Strong background in data modelling, architecture design, and strategy.
- Hands‑on experience planning and delivering data migrations to Azure.
- Ability to manage analysis, make informed design decisions, and guide delivery teams.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a pivotal role in a high‑impact cloud transformation programme.
