Lead Frontend Developer (TypeScript / Next.js) – Leeds (Hybrid)

The Role

We’re partnering with a growing organisation looking for a Frontend Lead to take ownership of a large-scale digital platform and lead a small frontend engineering team. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll help shape frontend architecture, mentor developers, and deliver high-quality user experiences across modern web applications.

Tech Stack

• React / Next.js
• TypeScript
• Tailwind CSS
• Storybook
• Cypress
• AWS / Docker / CI/CD

What They’re Looking For

• Strong commercial experience with React, Next.js, and modern frontend architecture
• Experience leading or mentoring developers
• Background building and scaling complex web applications
• Strong collaboration skills across engineering, UX, QA, and business teams
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
