Senior Estimator – Formwork (Shuttering)

Toronto, Ontario, Canada; Salary: CAD 150,000‑200,000 plus bonus and employee share scheme. Full visa sponsorship and relocation support are provided.

Role Overview

The Senior Estimator will lead pre‑construction estimation for large‑scale commercial and institutional projects, pricing high‑density formwork scopes and contributing to bid strategy and project outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Price large‑scale commercial and institutional projects with complex concrete and structural packages.
• Develop accurate and strategic bids for high‑value tenders.
• Influence bid strategy, shape project outcomes, and contribute to major project wins.
• Collaborate with design and construction teams to interpret drawings, sequencing and construction methodology.
• Manage labour, materials, productivity, and logistics data for estimations.

Qualifications

• Strong hands‑on formwork / shuttering estimating experience.
• Ability to deliver from day one and step in quickly.
• Strong technical understanding of drawings, sequencing and construction methodology.
• Solid knowledge of labour, materials, productivity and logistics.
• Experience pricing complex concrete and structural scopes.
• Ambition to grow within a leading Tier 1 contractor.
