If so, this may be the ideal role for you! Teaching Personnel are working with a Primary School in Blackburn, who is looking for a Year 6 teacher to cover a maternity leave within school. They are looking for the suitable candidate to join their team in November 2020 until July 2021. As of April 2021, there will be an opportunity in school to plan and deliver SATS booster sessions outside of the classroom. You would be teaching a class of 28 pupils with a full-time teaching assistant who has very good curriculum knowledge. There are a high percentage of children within the class working towards age related expectations. The Head Teacher has stressed the main teaching target would be to prepare the children and to raise their attainment leading up towards their SATS.
