Senior Recovery Support Worker, Blackburn

We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and committed individual to join our friendly and experienced team as a Senior Support Worker at our supported accommodation service in Blackburn.

Our 24‑hour supported living service provides outcome‑focused support to individuals with complex mental health and/or substance abuse needs. Using the recovery model, along with wellbeing sessions and signposting, we aim to prevent hospital admissions and promote a return to independence within their own homes and the local community. As a Senior Support Worker you will work alongside local management to assist with the coordination and delivery of high‑quality, person‑centred support.

As a Senior Support Worker you must be warm, motivated, and conscientious, with strong verbal and written communication and organisational skills. A minimum of 2 years’ experience in providing care and support to people with mental health needs, and an extensive knowledge of these needs, is essential for this role.

Full training is provided, as is an opportunity to work toward a QCF Diploma in Health and Social Care. Benefits include a probationary bonus, pension contributions, 28 days annual leave and company‑paid enhanced DBS.
