Nursing Home Cook, Blackpool

• Prepare, cook and serve high-quality meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
• Plan and create varied, nutritional menus tailored to residents’ needs and preferences
• Adapt meals for special diets (e.g. allergies, texture‑modified diets, cultural needs)
• Maintain food hygiene, safety and cleanliness standards (HACCP, COSHH)
• Order stock, control supplies and minimise waste
• Support or supervise kitchen staff where required
• Cater for events and activities (e.g. birthdays, seasonal events)

• Previous cooking experience (care home experience desirable)
• Knowledge of food safety & nutrition
• Ability to work in a resident‑focused, caring environment
• Good organisation, teamwork and communication skills
