Shift Engineer, Shaftesbury SP7 8QD

Recently we have joined First Milk group – a British farmer-owned dairy co-operative. Every day we source 100,000 litres of milk from the local farms. You can find our products in most supermarkets across the whole of the UK. We welcome applications from everyone To strengthen our production team we are looking for a Shift Engineer who will work on the following shift: 4on 4off basis – 06:00 -18:00 – Salary – £52,787.57 per year Brief of Responsibilities:

• To provide front line support for reactive and pro-active engineering work on all equipment and plant within BV Dairy. To complete preventative planned maintenance to all equipment to a safe and GMP compliant standard. To provide engineering advice to the operations team and support the decision-making process when no other engineering management support is on site. To assist in the delivery of Engineering project work. To liaise with regulatory authorities, contractors, suppliers and other stakeholders as required. To assist with progressive innovation of the engineering team while ensuring compliance with legislation and technical requirements. To share knowledge and assist in the training of our apprentices.
