Yard Operative, Milton Keynes

Salary: GBP25396 - GBP25396 per annum

Our client, a well-established company based in Milton Keynes, is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Yardsman / Labourer to join their busy depot. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone who enjoys working outdoors and as part of a team.

• Preparing, cleaning, and maintaining equipment
• Loading and unloading tools and machinery safely
• Assisting customers with collections and returns
• Keeping the yard clean, organised, and safe at all times
• Carrying out basic checks and reporting any faults or damages
• Supporting workshop staff when required

• Previous experience in a similar role or within construction/plant hire
• Good work ethic and a positive attitude
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
• Basic understanding of health & safety practices
• Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential)

• Working hours: 7:30am – 4:30pm
• Full training provided
• Friendly and supportive working environment
