Press Break Operator, Horwich

Major Recruitment have an urgent requirement for a Press Brake Operator for our Client based in Horwich. Duties of a succesful Press Brake Operative will include, but are not limited to; Setting and operating of the press brakes to run jobs in line with production requirements. Setting and operating of press brake machines to run samples and pre-production in line with R&D requirements. Inputting of data for new tooling or amendments to programs. Ensure inspection is carried out in line with QA requirements. To carry out routine maintenance and cleaning of press brake machine. Ensure that machines are operated safely at all times. Liaise with laser and other personnel to ensure satisfactory 'workflow' and minimum 'downtime'. To advise re-tooling requirements. To perform regular stock checks of sheet material. To work within H&S policy/safe system of work.
