What you will do:

• Triage incoming safeguarding referrals and assess risk collaboratively
• Determine appropriate safeguarding pathways for each case
• Progress cases into Section 42 enquiries under the Care Act 2014 when required
• Work in compliance with safeguarding legislation and guidelines
• Collaborate closely with internal teams and partner agencies
• Ensure accurate documentation and thorough case management

Person Specification:

• Qualified Adult Social Worker with strong safeguarding experience within a local authority setting
• Ability to skilfully manage triage and decision-making processes
• Robust references covering any gaps in employment over the last three years
