MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN / MAINTENANCE ENGINEER - HEAVY ENGINEERING NOTTINGHAMSHIRE / DERBYSHIRE BORDER c£39.5k (INCLUDING SHIFT ALLOWANCE) SHIFT PATTERN: 2 Rotating Shifts Days Monday - Thursday Nights Sunday - Wednesday Grafton Recruitment are looking to recruit a Maintenance Technician to join a global manufacturer of high precision machined products with over 200 facilities worldwide. As part of their long-term commitment to minimising downtime, they are looking to add to their Maintenance team to assist with maintaining all machinery/equipment on site. The factory consists of a large machine shop and a forging area, as such you must have a background in heavy engineering. THE ROLE: As a Maintenance Technician you will be required to: * Troubleshoot and correct any breakdown issues * Plan and Manage PPM Schedules * Upgrade, service and install new and existing equipment * Ensure all Health & Safety policies are adhered to * Identify areas of improvement and cost reduction * Carry out shift handovers THE CANDIDATE: The ideal Maintenance Technician will have: * Worked in a in a CNC Machine Shop/heavy engineering (essential) * Apprentice trained/Time served Maintenance Electrician * Excellent problem-solving ability * Relevant Electrical qualification * Ability to effectively communicate and engage with people across all levels COMMUTABLE FROM: Beeston, Derby, Ilkeston, Long Eaton, Loughborough, Nottingham BENEFITS: * c£39.5k including shift allowance * Contributory Pension * Internal progression * To be a part of a truly global company * Free parking HOW TO APPLY: To be considered for this role, please click on the link provided.
