Logistics Operative Location: Poole, Dorset, BH17 7EF Salary: Competitive, DOE Contract: Full time, Permanent Hours: Mon ? We are now recruiting for a Logistics Operative to join us permanently in Poole working dayshift. Logistics Operative ? Duties and Responsibilities: * Receiving/issuing/dispatching goods utilising the Company business system of all external goods. * Accurately filing and maintaining all relevant documentation. * Thoroughly investigating all errors or discrepancies and ensuring that the appropriate individuals are informed. * Ensuring all parts are stored or issued in a suitable manner to prevent damage. * Issuing of components into valve kits as required. * Processing of spare kits. * Maintaining accurate inventory data (Perpetual Inventory Counts). * Ensuring batches are clearly identified and controlled. * Processing and carrying out Raw Material duties as required. * Carrying out general delivery/collection duties as required. * Operating/driving Fork Lift. * Handling of raw materials, including heavy metal bars. * Cutting of raw materials using machinery, saws etc. * Completing despatch duties as required and requested. Essential Criteria: * Experience of working in a component or material stores. * Experience of Goods Inwards/Despatch processes. * Experience of using material cutting machinery for billeting etc. * Understanding of stock, stock items and batch segregation in a computerised system. * Able to perform accurate stock checks and perpetual inventory checks. * High level of attention to detail. * Ability to communicate in an effective and professional manner. * Basic IT skills and accurate in data entry. * Educated to GCSE grade 4 or equivalent in English, Maths and one other subject. * Clean driving licence.
