Job Role: Interim Payroll Manager Location: New Milton  Contract: 1 year contract  Job Sector: Finance Hours:  35 hours As the Payroll Manager, you will contribute to our vision of being the UKs favourite property manager by: Contributing to healthy estates finance Providing a great service to employees and strong communication Collaboratively working with different departments across the business This role reports to the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis and has a team of up to 4 direct reports. Main Responsibilities ? Overseeing and assisting with the running of a weekly, bi-weekly and monthly payroll, ensuring that employees are paid accurately and on time, whilst adhering to standard procedures and legislation. ? Supporting the payroll team with their day to day duties and provide ongoing training and development to increase their knowledge. ? Assist team with input, carry out auditing and complete exception checking through reporting ? Providing advice and support on all payroll related matters, including legislative changes related to payroll. ? Raise payroll system issues with our system provider Zellis. ? Working closely with MyHR and the Systems HR and Payroll Manager on solutions to issues as they arise as well as improvements to systems and processes. ? Liaising with finance teams to provide back up and calculations as required. ? Driving improvements in our monthly payroll process ensuring consistent services levels are maintained to a high standard. ? Year End Processing, team training on new legislation and system testing. Skills and Experience ? Experience in a similar Payroll Manager role within a fast-paced environment is desirable. ? Confident at managing a payroll team and a high volume of data. ? Strong IT skills including spreadsheets and payroll systems. ? Organisation and planning is essential to ensure all deadlines are met. ? Strong leadership qualities and excellent attention to detail. ? Great communication and being a team player are important within this role. Our Values Friendly ?
