Lead Maintenance Engineer, DA1

Are you and experienced Maintenance Engineer? * Can you lead a small team of Maintenance Engineers within a food factory? I know that shift and salary isn?t the only consideration when looking for a new Lead Maintenance Engineer position, but let?s face it, when you?ve done your time and gained valuable skills, It?s nice to be able to lead others and share you?re knowledge! As a Lead Engineer on shift you?ll be joining a food business that have grown over the years from just a family run business, to being part of a global food giant. They supply all kinds of consumer food products to all of the big 4 retailers and beyond. The engineering team is a critical part of any food manufacturing business and here it?s no exception. As the Lead Engineer, your expertise will help reduce reactive maintenance, put better SOP?s in place, deliver PPM schedules, and maybe even tidy up the engineering stores. If thats not enough to keep you busy, there will be a shift team of engineers to mentor. So, in summary - we are looking for someone who has the following: * Experience as a Lead Engineer, Engineering Supervisor or Engineering Team Leader in the FMCG industry,Food, drink, pharmaceuticals, distribution,automation. * Formal qualification in an electrical discipline * Recognised engineering qualification, apprenticeship, NVQ, HNC / HND, ONC, degree.
