Software Engineer - Dev Ops, Hampshire

My client are industry leaders in their field. They have harnessed a range of optoelectronic AI and IoT technologies, to their core technology, to produce an array of world leading solutions. They design and manufacture a range of complex electronic instrumentation products that are used in a variety of industries. They are looking to hire their first Dev Ops Engineer - Linux to the company where you will be responsible for bridging the gap between the development of the company's DAS products and services. As this is their first DevOps role you will be critical in helping them identify and implement enhancements that improve the quality, productivity, and efficiency of their engineering team. You will also be able to work 3 / 4 days remote. Roles and responsibilities of the Dev Ops Engineer - Linux role: - Identify and implement best practices to ensure high-quality deliverables are released from the Engineering group - Improve and streamline the CI/CD pipeline, including infrastructure, builds, releases - Enhance and maintain automated tests for the company's products and services - Implement improvements to the deployment of products - Actively participate in the development of Engineering and other company-wide processes Previous skills and experience needed for the role of Dev Ops Engineer - Linux Role: - Expertise in Linux based operating systems, python programming, and shell scripting - Knowledge and expertise in Automated testing tools and processes - Experience of previously working for a company who are rapidly scaling up would be beneficial to the position If you feel you have the skills for this position of Dev Ops Engineer - Linux, then my client can offer you unlimited progression, remote working opportunities, alongside an excellent basic salary.
