Clinical Assessor £32,000 - £38,760 Full Time- Monday - Friday Permanent - Bournemouth No weekends, nights or shift work. All bank holidays off. On behalf of our Disability Assessments clients, Global4Health are looking for experienced Clinicians to work within the exciting and challenging area of Disability Assessment. We are currently recruiting for the following: Physiotherapists Occupational Therapists Nurse Job Responsibilities: Within this role, you will be responsible for using your clinical knowledge and expertise to carry out medical assessments and examinations on people's claims for disability benefit payments. You will meet with individuals face-to-face through a 1-1 consultation, in order to assess how health conditions and disabilities can impact on their daily living activities. Rather than providing treatment or advice to claimants, you will instead conduct assessments and compile factual evidence together from each appointment in order to write clear and concise medical reports based on your findings. These will then be sent off to the Department of Work and Pensions (DWP) to help them ensure that people receive the right benefits and support. You will be working with a varied caseload and complex conditions including physical, mental health, cognitive and sensory impairments.
