A reputable Architectural firm listed amongst the country's elite in the AJ100 rankings seeks an experienced Architectural Technologist for exciting & flexible education projects? An eminent AJ100 Architectural practice based in Westerham, Kent are looking to recruit talented Architectural Technologists and suitably qualified Architectural Technicians due to an increased project pipeline. The practice have successfully delivered projects across the residential, commercial, education and manufacturing sectors for decades and their successes look set to continue well into the future with the awarding of a number of significant schemes. For this particular Architectural Technologist role, you will be required to join the team in Kent responsible for producing projects specifically within the Education sector. This practice have previously delivered award-winning schemes within the Education sector including the Mercia School in Yorkshire as well as The Lakes National Nuclear College and also the National Colleges for High Speed Rail. With this in mind, we encourage Architectural Technologists with demonstrable experience within Education to apply. The successful Architectural Technologist will work directly with the Project Architect in collating, organising, investigating and producing technical information for use during the development of the project design. Requirements of the Architectural Technologist Relevant Technical Qualification - Degree/HNC/HND Minimum 3 years post qualification experience Previous experience within the Education sector - desirable Excellent Communication/Presentation skills Sound knowledge of current UK legislation Hand-Drawing/Sketching skills - advantageousArchiCAD is the preferred software at this practice, therefore you must be able to carry out the following using this software: Prepare and present design proposals Prepare and present detail design proposals prepare and present construction details as required by the Contractor Assist with the production of As Built drawings A highly attractive salary and benefits package would be on offer to the successful Architectural Technologist, likely to be in the range of £30,000 - £41,000 per annum dependant on experience plus the following benefits: 25 days holiday Private health-care Pension scheme Critical illness cover Life insurance Other benefits include flexible working hours, free fresh fruit and subsidised regular social activities as the company are proud to create an environment that keeps employees happy, energised and motivated.
