Working on behalf of a Local Authority, Aatom Recruitment has an excellent opportunity for a Case Manager on a 3 months contract with a possibility of an extension Main purpose of post You will play an important role in building trust with the clients to enable you to provide a person centred pathway with the goal of moving away from a life on the streets. Responsibilities Your role with include assertive street outreach and hot spots visits to encourage the more entrenched rough sleepers to engage with you and start their journey on the change pathway. This work can be on the street or at a local night shelter, so there may be some working of unsocial hours on a few occasions. Ideally you will have experience of working with the rough sleeping community and understand the social problems faced by this group. You will be someone who can work and think outside of the box and have the resilience to work with a group of people with multiple needs and chaotic lifestyles. Skills/Qualifications A self-starter who can also work comfortably as part of a team you will be a confident and self-motivated person with great communication, negotiation and persuasion skills.
