Commis Chef, Padstow

We are looking for a Commis Chef to join our kitchen team at St Petroc's Bistro in Padstow. As Commis Chef you will support the kitchen team with food preparation, ensuring your work is to the highest standard at all times and you will have the opportunity to learn and grow your skills whilst working with us. The rate of pay for this role is £8.72 per hour (£8.20 if you are under 25) plus a share of service charge. WHAT YOU?LL BE GETTING UP TO - Preparing and cooking food by following Rick?s recipes - Rotating through our kitchen sections under the supervision of the Chef de Partie - Ensuring the kitchen is ready for service and correct stock levels are maintained - Working efficiently as part of a team within a busy kitchen - Correctly recording deliveries and ensuring all ingredients are stored correctly KEY SKILLS - A passion for food - Ability to work under pressure - Demonstrating strong company and menu knowledge ABOUT US St Petroc?s Bistro was the second of Rick Stein and Jill Stein?s restaurants opened in 1988. Our Bistro has grown over the years specialising in bistro food from Britain, France, Spain and Italy. In 2016 Ruby?s Bar was opened next door to St Petroc?s Bistro, our front of house team enjoy looking after guests at both St Petroc?s Bistro and Ruby?s Bar
