Looking for a Social Worker to join a team in Chesil and Dorchester 37 Hours per week. Contract position. Must be able to drive due to the rural nature of Dorset and the limited public transport. Experienced Qualified Social Workers required for Locality Teams in Chesil (Weymouth) and Dorchester. The locality teams are area teams that work alongside early help and education workers with children and their families. The locality team social workers undertake child and family assessments, Child in need planning, child protection planning, court work and children in care planning through to permanence. Additional social work posts have been created within this new model to reduce the caseloads for social workers and promote relationship based, restorative and strengths based practice.
