Domestic Assistant – Facilities Team

We are recruiting reliable and motivated Domestic Assistants to join our Facilities Team at Alumhurst Road, Bournemouth, in a brand‑new purpose‑built 8‑bed inpatient CAMHS High Intensity Environment / PICU unit.

Key Responsibilities

• Dusting, cleaning of lavatories, basins, kitchen, vacuuming carpeted floors and mopping clinical floors.
• Cleaning of clinical areas, internal windows/glass panels, replenishing product dispensers and wiping window blinds.
• Ensuring the National Cleaning Standards are consistently maintained.

Working Hours

• 15 hours per week – Saturday and Sunday 10.30am‑6.30pm.
• Pattern may need to change to work flexibly within the team to cover service needs.
• Additional hours, including weekends, attract enhanced pay rates.
• Generous annual leave allowance.

Requirements & Conditions

• Right to work in the UK – no visa sponsorship available.
• Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check – cost covered by the Trust.
• Completion of a Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression course – a condition of employment.
• Full training, support, uniform and shadowing of experienced staff will be provided.
