Senior PHP Developer, Shipley

We are currently recruiting for a fantastic organisation that has seen significant growth over the past 12 months that requires a talented PHP Developer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone wanting to join a progressive company that supports and promotes from within. As Developer you will play a key role in development and maintenance of the companies business operating system, website and associated channels. You will also need to take ownership of projects you are responsible for and ensure there successful delivery, both in terms of time and quality. You will need to plan, gather requirements, and work with the Development Lead to create an appropriate solution, leading the project right through all stages of the SDLC and then finally being released. Roles & Responsibilities > Demonstrates expert knowledge of PHP. > Possesses demonstrated work experience with at least one relational database management system. > Designs and codes superior technical solutions. > Creates efficient and logical databases. > Possesses significant knowledge of client server and Internet systems architectures. > Creates well designed, reusable objects. ? Understands the benefits of the various design methodologies and object oriented environments. > Can easily recognise system deficiencies and, implements effective solutions. > Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions. > Communicates effectively with business to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions. > Creates and executes project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
