Registered Manager, Halifax

An exciting opportunity has arisen with a specialist children?s care provider, who is seeking a Registered Manager for an Assessment Centre in Halifax. The service provides residential care for 90 days whilst they determine where the children would be best placed in a more permanent residential home. The children will be aged 11-18, all with a range of backgrounds, for example those who have suffered trauma or abuse, EBD, Learning Difficulties or harmful sexual behaviour. They require a Registered Manager who will ensure a safe, effective and personalised care and support service and safe, secure and comfortable home environment for children. Supporting children in a person centred way to ensure them to see a brighter future for themselves and start them on their journey to feeling more supported and developing self-belief that they have more positive opportunities in life. Salary: £(phone number removed) plus bonus scheme depending on experience & qualifications You must have: 3 years? experience as a Registered Manager, having achieved an Ofsted rating of ?good? and / or ?outstanding?. Managing Ofsted inspections to a minimum overall ?good? rating In depth knowledge of Quality Standards and Children?s homes regulations. Level 3 in Health & Social Care (Children & Young people) Level 5 in Leadership for Health & Social Care and Children?s and Young People?s Service or equivalent.
