If so, our client are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer, on a permanent basis, to join their expanding business and growing team through an exciting period of work.   Senior Structural Engineer Job Description Deliver compliant and efficient structural designs Prepare structural calculations and sketch details sufficient to advise the engineering design team of structural requirements Reduce total Bills of Materials Undertake structural inspections of the products as necessary Improve efficiency of the build through the development of innovative structural solutions Liaise with external Structural Engineers related to the delivery of the full building project inclusive of foundations Represent the business in design teams? meetings in relation to structural matters  Senior Structural Engineer Essential Skills BEng (Hons), BSc (Hons) or MSc in Civil / Structural Engineering Fluent in the design of structures in timber to BS EN 1995 Experienced in the design of structural elements in other common building materials including light gauge steel Have strong structural analytical ability to model building structures Able to deliver practical structural details Excellent interpersonal and team leadership skills  Senior Structural Engineer Desirable Skills Membership of MICE and/or MTStructE or nearing such status Excellent presentation oral and written communication skills
