Mploy staffing solutions are currently supporting a local business, recruiting for the role of Production Operative/ Machine Operator. you will be required to work the shifts of Monday to Thursday 8.00am until 4.45pm and Friday 8.00am until 3.45pm. On a tempoary to permanent basis. The purpose of your role will be to produce the product to the agreed specification sheet and at a satisfactory quality. Due to Covid-19 we have implemented many controls to prevent any potential spread and protect all our colleagues to best our abilities. When you join, you will receive full training within the production area. It will be required for you to become very independent and confident as you will need to plan and complete the required production. Duties and Responsibilities To ensure the machines are running to agreed standards of speed/cleanliness/quality. Highlight to Supervision/Engineering/Quality Management (as appropriate) if this is not possible Comply with all WinMan requirements; accurately recording start/stop times and quantities in a timely manner. See GMP document To be present and ready to begin manufacturing at the start of each shift Comply with paperwork requirements for the area; this includes (but is not limited to: Production paperwork, Training Records, In-Process Checks. To provide suitable notice to the runner when requiring new or additional components (15minutes minimum) in order to avoid "waiting" time To be aware of and comply with the safety requirements of the dept. This includes (but is not limited to) the wearing of correct PPE, adherence to the Fire Procedure, knowledge of the E-Stops/Guarding on the machines, understanding of the depts "COSHH" See GMP document To contribute fully to any improvements/changes/projects that are being considered/implementedSkills and Attributes Have a flexible approach Good Numeracy and attention to detail Positive attitude to work Respectful and helpful to others Happy to take instruction and learn from othersYou will be entitled to use the companies on site gym facilities for free before and after your shifts! - Saving you the cost of a gym membership!
