Food and Beverage Assistant - Bank, Brentwood

Join Avery Healthcare as a Food and Beverage Team Member – Bank at Brentwood Arches Care Home. This role supports the dining service and assists residents with their meals and meal selection.

• Support residents in choosing meal options during dining.
• Ensure proper dining table setups in line with standard operating procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the front‑of‑house areas, removing and replenishing dirty crockery.
• Make fresh homemade cakes, biscuits, finger foods and fruit available in the bistro areas throughout the day.
• Stay aware of residents’ dietary requirements and restrictions.
• Present a high level of personal hygiene and professionalism at all times.
• Display caring, supportive, honest, respectful and accountable behaviour.

• Previously working in a similar setting such as a restaurant or hotel is desirable.
• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (or equivalent) is beneficial.
• Demonstrated high standards of personal hygiene.
• Compassion and commitment to delivering culinary services to residents.

• Proof of eligibility to work in the United Kingdom.
• DBS Disclosure check – the cost will be met by Avery Healthcare.
• Eligibility to work in the UK as a standard requirement.
