• Work as part of a team to ensure all cleanliness and laundry standards are maintained in the care home.
• Carry out all cleaning duties according to worksheet instructions and understand the cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings.
• Ensure all areas are well presented and maintained in good condition.
• Treat residents with dignity and respect, respecting their personal space and belongings.
• Operate according to standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry, ensuring hotel service standards are maintained.

• Knowledge of Health and Safety, particularly moving and handling techniques, fire safety and COSHH assessments.
• Experience of cleaning laundry in a public setting.
• Demonstrated compassion and commitment to high‑quality housekeeping/laundry service for residents.
• Ability to adapt and be flexible to cover a range of responsibilities on short notice.

• Proof of eligibility to work in the UK.
