Are you looking for a meaningful way to connect with others and make a real difference in someone’s life?

Become a Digital Friend Volunteer and help open up the online world for older adults who are homebound or feeling isolated.

Many people aged 60+ are missing out on the opportunities that come with being online, but with your support, we can change that. As a volunteer with Age Well East, you’ll help older clients build essential digital skills: turning on a laptop, adjusting settings, browsing the internet, booking appointments, shopping online, and enjoying video calls with family and friends.

You don’t need to be a technical expert. What matters most is your ability to listen, be patient and kind, and enjoy helping others grow in confidence.

Full training to help you feel confident in your role.

A dedicated Friendship Coordinator to support you throughout your volunteering journey.

All DBS checks arranged and paid for by Age Well East.

Willing to provide two character references.

Enhanced DBS check covered by Age Well East.
