Description

Martin Mere is looking for an enthusiastic individual to work on our canoe safari attraction during weekends and school holidays until the end of September.

The role will include providing health and safety talks, fitting buoyancy aids, taking payments and safely getting visitors on and off canoes, in addition to general maintenance and cleaning responsibilities.

You will work as part of a team of both staff and volunteers.

This is a casual position where hours are offered on an ad hoc basis. Candidates will need to be willing to work some weekends, bank holidays and during the school holidays.

About You
  • A team player with excellent communication skills, especially dealing with people of all ages and abilities.
  • Able to use their own initiative and be confident in making decisions.
  • Experience of undertaking an outdoor pursuits sport including water sports, climbing and hiking would be an advantage for this role.
