About the Company A leading provider of high quality steel bridging solutions, specialising in rapid build, pre-engineered modular steel bridges. Hours of Work Monday to Thursday 07.30 - 16.00 hours (1 hour lunch break) Friday 07.30- 15.00 hours (30 mins lunch break) Pay Rate Between £10.00 per hour to £12.00 per hour - depending on experience Purpose of Position To be responsible for all goods inwards & despatch transactions as defined by the Company's ISO9001 policies. To maintain and execute all ERP/Infor system transactions pertinent to the goods inwards/outward function. The preparation of all documentation and labelling relating to deliveries, material control and despatches. ? To support, the general administration of the wider Transport, Logistics and materials control functions.Key Responsibilities Ensures that all goods entering or leaving the site are controlled in line with all company procedures and systems requirements. The receipting, in accordance with procedures of all raw materials and goods from the Company's supply chain partners, including but not limited to: steel plate and sections, 'bought out complete' components and assemblies, consumable items, maintenance items, production consumables, fasteners, tools and equipment. The systematic control of components shipped out from the Company for subcontracted services, including but not limited to: galvanising, modification, fabrication, machining, painting, etc. ? The systematic control of components returning to the Company from subcontract service providers, including but not limited to: galvanising, modification, fabrication, machining, painting. ? The creation, distribution and filing of paperwork, labels and other documentation as required to ensure material traceability and control throughout the production process.? The creation, distribution and filing of paperwork, labels and other documentation as required to ensure finished goods identification and traceability in the stockyard prior to shipment. ? The creation, distribution and filing of Goods Outwards paperwork and pertinent shipping documentation (export and domestic) as required for the despatch of goods to the Company's clients. ? Provide dependant departments (supply chain, finance, production, QA and others) with incoming paperwork relevant to the receipt of goods, the processing of invoices and queries, and the control of materials generally.Accountability The successful candidate will be accountable for the accuracy of goods inwards/outwards transactions, for all material movements In to and out from the site. Education and Training The ideal candidate must have demonstrable IT systems familiarity, particularly with regards to MRP/ERP driven environments, be proficient in the use of spreadsheets and form generation software. ? Excellent numeracy skills are essential. Experience A background working within Goods Inwards/Outwards environment is essential, with knowledge and experience gained within an export driven environment being desirable. ? A solid background in systematic manufacturing involving daily MRP/ERP transactions is essential particularly with regards to the storage and use of steel plate and sections and the associated traceability demands
