Senior Nurse, Brighton

Senior Nurse We have an opportunity for a Senior Nurse to work in a beautiful care home close to the sea in the Brighton area. As Senior Nurse you will be reporting into the Care Manager and responsible for monitoring and supporting the multi- disciplinary staff team to deliver excellent, compliant, person centred care.  The role is permanent for 40 hours a week at a rate of £20.50 per hour Main Duties of the Senior Nurse role Responsibility for the preparation update and review of care plans Effective communication with residents, families and stakeholders Safe storage and administering, ordering and record keeping of drugs and medication Record keeping in line with agreed CQC, company and NMC standards Supporting residents with their social, physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual needs Assisting, guiding, coaching staff with their learning and development needs Promotion and maintenance of health and safety Required Skills, experience and qualifications for the Senior Nurse Compassionate nature and previous experience working in a similar role with elderly people Active practice of storing and administering medication in line with current regulations Knowledge and understanding of National Care Standards and Health and Safety RGN/RMN with NMC valid pin Proven competency in promoting best practice in safeguarding adults Excellent communication and numeracy and literacy Good Computer skills Clear understanding of confidentiality and data protection Strong initiative with ability to work well under pressure Flexibility to work on the rota Salary and benefits of the Senior Nurse role In addition to the salary, there is an excellent benefits system , including 4% employer pension contribution, generous holiday allowance, free life assurance, childcare vouchers and a range of other opportunities.
