Good activities and variety of food for residents* Further Details on care home: Are you highly motivated Registered Nurse experienced ( RGN ) ( RMN ) or ( RNLD ) to work within our service located North Berwick, East Lothian. Service: This stunning care home opened in 2008 is a purpose-built nursing home nestling within leafy grounds close to the heart of the community. Situated in the pretty coastal town of North Berwick and set in leafy grounds with trees, we provide high-quality nursing care for older people in a community setting. All staff at the home offer the highest levels of Dementia and Palliative care. Role: In the absence of the Manager/Deputy, assume responsibility of operational overview of whole home To accept extra duties, e.g. compiling duty rota, reflecting the ability to skill mix and meet SCSWIS staffing notice To appraise staff and, if necessary, counsel, adhering to company procedure and documentation. Communicate outcomes with Manager/Deputy In absence of Manager/Deputy, to complete Head Office and senior management reports timeously and accurately To understand the SCSWIS inspection process and assist in the inspection as required To maximise bed occupancy opportunities by being friendly and helpful to all enquirers and visitors, either personally or on the telephone In the absence of the Manager / Deputy to delegate daily workload, ensuring efficient and cost-effective use of manpower To attend and participate in staff meetings and training as required by the company or the unit manager Meet the manager : The Home Manager joined September 2019 and brings extensive experience and a wealth of knowledge about care of older people. He works closely with Deputy Manager in leading the team of support staff, care workers and registered nurses. He is passionate about providing the highest standard of care.
