Portfolio Manager (Taxation and Accounts), PE29

Due to continued expansion, we are looking to recruit a Portfolio Manager, who has proven experience in taxation and accounts. Our client has been established for over 80 years, and has a 60+ strong team of tax and accounting professionals currently operate from offices in Huntingdon, Biggleswade and Letchworth. Reporting to the Tax Partner, the successful candidate will manage a diverse portfolio of clients (inc. private clients, sole traders and limited company business owners) and will deal with all aspects of the clients? accounting and tax needs. The work will be varied, and will include: * Tax compliance, including the review and preparation of annual Self-Assessment Tax Returns. * Provision of proactive tax planning and tax advisory services to a diverse portfolio of clients. * Managing client meetings. * Contributing to the overall development of the practice and developing their own portfolio. * Liaising with HM Revenue & Customs, on behalf of clients, which is not limited to but may include seeking resolutions to a range of tax matters and the provision of information to HMRC. * Preparation of Financial Statements. * Provision of support to junior members of the team, where necessary. * Supporting with additional workflow as required.
