Warehouse Operator, Folkestone

Hrgo are seeking a Warehouse Operative for the Folkestone area. The Warehouse provides components to a factory. The Operatives are responsible for ensuring the correct handling and storage of both incoming and outgoing goods. Regular duties include: To receive supplier component and finished goods deliveries, ensuring correctness of deliveries against the delivery documents. To ensure that there are no discrepancies in quantity and quality. To handle and locate stock accurately, ensuring no damages. To despatch components in a timely and correct manner, taking note of safe handling and loading procedures. To despatch finished goods as required to customers in a timely and correct manner, taking note of safe handling procedures, and to ensure that all shipments are made with correct documentation (including Export, if applicable) and to schedule. Ensure that the issue of components and finished goods is in line with the correct stock and batch rotation practice. Education and experience required: Valid forklift license - Counterbalance and VNA. Experience of working in a Warehouse environment. Good communication skills. Ability to follow instructions and SOPs with an organized and methodical approach. Computer literate with experience of SAP an advantage. You will be required to work a shift pattern of 12 hours, on a 4 day on, 4 day off shift pattern. The shift start times, are varied and staggered, commencing from 5am - 5pm to 8am - 8pm with breaks.
