Experience/Qualifications
Essential criteria
- Basic medical degree
- FRCR or appropriate specialist qualification
- Full GMC Registration with a licence to practice
- CCT in Radiology or equivalent (equivalence must be confirmed by GMC by date of AAC)
- Entry onto the GMC Specialist Register or eligibility for entry within 6 months of the date of the AAC
Desirable criteria
- Higher Degree
- Distinctions, scholarships, prizes, other degress e.g. BSc, MSc, MS
Clinical Skills&Experience
Essential criteria
- Neuroradiology subspecialty training in Cross Sectional reporting
- Experience of reporting complex neuroimaging
- Understanding of clinical risk management
- An ability to communicate well with patients and staff
Desirable criteria
- Fellowship in neuroradiology/ Head&Neck
- Experience in head&neck cross sectional reporting
- Experience in advanced neuroimaging techniques and/or working in close collaboration with a tertiary neurosciences unit
Knowledge
Desirable criteria
- Breadth of experience in and outside specialty
Organisation&Planning
Essential criteria
- Experience and ability to work in multi-professional teams
- Understanding of: NHS / Clinical governance / Resource constraints
Desirable criteria
- Evidence of managerial skills: Achievements / Course attended
Teaching Skills
Essential criteria
- Evidence of an interest and commitment to teaching

- Recognised teaching qualification e.g. PGcert Med Ed
