Successful candidates will be offered full time shifts on a temp to perm basis. ? Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours/week + overtime) Duties for the Sewing Machinist Role: ? Follow an operating instruction for the particular job. ? Complete requirement for sewing items using appropriate materials. ? Draw threads through needles and adjust machine functions to meet the requirements of the sewing project. ? Report any faults or discrepancies to the Team Leader. ? Quality Control checks. ? Recording the number of items produced. ? Perform general maintenance tasks on sewing machines to ensure their longevity. Ideal Sewing Machinist Candidate: ? Good attention to detail ? Excellent hand-eye co-ordination ? Experience of working to targets ? Ability to follow written and verbal instructions ? A minimum of 3 years sewing experience gained within the industry.
