Nursery Manager, Bristol

Nursery Manager required for a lovely Nursery that is part of a well established small chain in Bristol. we have 2 roles one is permanent and one to cover maternity leave We are looking for an individual with a passion and enthusiasm for delivering high quality care and learning experiences with an emphasis on staff development. *What the employer can offer for the Nursery Manager role in Bristol* · 25k ? 30kplus per annum dependent on experience and qualifications · Free food from nursery menu · Annual pay review · 33 days plus bank holidays (5 days over statutory) · Discounted childcare · Nursery closures between xmas and new year · Free uniform · Paid time off for training and meetings attended outside of work hours *What you need for the Nursery Manager role in Bristol:* · Must have experience working at management (Deputy for the Maternity leave and Manager for the permanent role) · Must be at least Level 3 qualified · Have a detailed understanding of the requirements set by Ofsted · Experience of managing budgets · An excellent knowledge of the EYFS and experience of working with children and families · Experience of managing/supervising staff WITH extensive knowledge of Safeguarding · Experience of Recruitment procedures · Experience of working in partnership with parents and outside agencies · Able to demonstrate multi agency working and experience of leading staff meetings. · Managing and maintaining administration requirements *What is involved:* · Managing an established team of Room Leaders, Practitioners, Kitchen staff and Apprentices. · Ensure that all children attending the setting are kept safe and receive rich and stimulating play experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development. · Ensuring that all legislation in relation to Ofsted registration, special needs, safeguarding and Health and Safety is complied with and that company policies and procedures are adhered to. · Deploying staff appropriately and working closely with the Area Manager · Understanding of recruitment and selection · Co-ordination of tasks and responsibilities and the ability to delegate where necessary If you may be interested in this Nursery Manager role in Bristol please reply to this email to find out more or alternatively share with a friend as we have a recommend a friend scheme.
