Customers at the forefront of Industry 4.0 rely on our scalable systems and world-leading process expertise to develop and manufacture the latest technology behind augmented reality, autonomous vehicles and the Internet of Things To support the ongoing growth and development of world-class engineering and manufacturing processes at our Bristol headquarters, we have created a new position for an Engineering Manager to manage a team responsible for PLM, CPQ and MRP administration, engineering process ownership, version control and design release. Reporting to the Head of Engineering, and as a member of our Engineering leadership team, this is an exciting opportunity to help us improve how we work. Working closely with your team to coordinate activity and govern engineering workflows, you will ensure we are operating efficiently and effectively for the benefit of internal and external customers. We will also be looking to you to implement systems best practice and optimise processes that will help us to reduce production cycle times and accelerate future product releases, improving the sales experience and supporting our customers as they continue developing innovative new products and technologies. To be successful, you should have experience of best practice engineering design and product lifecycle management, along with a track record of improving systems and procedures for design and manufacturing. Formal people management experience is preferred as you will be directly responsible for setting objectives and reviewing the performance of your team.
