Role: Technical expert in power electronics Location: Warwick (fully onsite role) Salary: £60,000 - £85,000 + benefits My client is looking to hire a The Principle / Team Lead Power Electronics Design Engineer who will work within and lead a team, whose primary responsibility will be to design; high power SMPS's (DC-DC, AC-DC), Inverters (DC-AC) and use IGBT's, MOSFET's. You will be viewed as the technical expert with many years' experience in Power (not just ordinary) Electronics. Other responsibilities will also include assessing power conversion topologies, writing technical reports and interacting with other engineering teams. The ideal candidate will be educated to a degree level in Electrical or Electronic Engineering and have a demonstrable background in Power Electronics, Motor Control and Inverter design. Experience required: *Experience in relevant leadership positions. *Relevant project experience in leading roles. *Specialist working knowledge of electrical power systems *Experience of successful work winning/tendering for electrical & power supply business. *Practical exposure to IGBT design. *SMPS design.
