Opportunity for a Production Planner / materials planner / production scheduler to work for an established and successful production company in Bristol salary 25 - 28k. Job Title: Production Planner / materials planner / production scheduler Salary: £26 - 28 K Benefits: 28 days holiday, Location: BS16 - Bristol Duration: Temporary initially with the opportunity for Permanent Hours: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 7.30 - 4 pm The Production Planner / materials planner / production scheduler will work and liaise closely with the production/management teams and suppliers to control the planning of on-time requirements for the manufacturing process. The Production Planner / materials planner / production scheduler will assess and co-ordinate work flow, plan and prioritise production to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay for work in progress (WIP). You will develop and maintain good relationships with suppliers, support assessment and sourcing of supplier's evaluation and resolve supplier concerns and performance in conjunction with members of the purchasing team. Capable of interpreting the integrity of Bill of Materials (BOM) monitoring and managing the inventory accuracy. The successful candidate will have a previous expertise in production and materials planning/control/scheduling, with a knowledge of operating MRP systems and MS Office systems including Excel to a reasonable level. Good analytical and communication skills are essential to achieve results through influence and co-ordination. The Production Planner / materials planner / production scheduler will be able to demonstrate a previous track record of working in engineering or manufacturing co-ordinating production and materials work flow.
