Multi-Skilled Operative (Responsive Repairs) Location: Shrewsbury, Knights Way Salary: £28,666.39 Permanent Full time, 40 hours per week Closing date: 25th September 2020 Interview date: 15th October 2020 Are you looking for a new challenge? Our client have an exciting opportunity for a Multi Skilled Operative to join their Responsive Team carrying out a responsive repairs service to maintain the Group stock. This is a very varied role and they seek applicants that enjoy a challenge. The role is based in Shrewsbury. But they may need you to work across the business if required for short periods to cover demand. You will carry out high quality maintenance work to the Group?s properties. Job requirements * Carry out all the traditional duties of a multi-skilled tradesman, including Plumbing, Carpentry, Bricklaying / Plaster patching and making good tasks, as Locksmith repairs etc as requested by Responsive Supervisor. * To carry out jobs using total Mobile solution according to instructions and to keep materials usage to a minimum consistent with required quality standards, obtaining approval whenever any substantial variation from orders is required. * Demonstrate good planning and organisation skills, Using a van stock replenishment system. * Effectively communicate with staff, residents over the phone, by email , or in person. IT literate * Experience of working at height * Experience of working on their own without supervision and within a team * Ensuring that work is carried out in accordance with all Health and Safety at Work regulations and codes of practice, including wearing protective clothing and safety equipment as supplied, and to all attend training as requested. * A company vehicle will be provided Please see the job profile for more details on the job requirements. What they're looking for: * Have a suitable C&G NVQ trade qualification, Preferably with Adaptation experience.
