Warehouse First Line Manager - 8 Month Contract, Daventry

Reporting into the Shift Operations Manager, this role would suit a Warehouse First Line Manager, Warehouse Shift Manager, Warehouse Supervisor or Warehouse Team Leader with experience of managing automated and/or eCommerce operations. THE ROLE: Direct Management responsibility of a team of over 20 people within an Automated Distribution Centre. Engagement, Coaching and Mentoring of your team. Suggesting & Leading CI within your operation. Health & Safety. Inventory Control and Process Improvements. THE PERSON: Warehouse Shift Manager, Warehouse First Line Manager Warehouse Supervisor or Warehouse Team Leader with a strong people engaging style. Able to work shifts and have some flexibility as per business requirements (likely to be rotating 6am - 2pm & 2pm - 10pm shifts but these are yet to be confirmed). Automated warehouse experience - HIGHLY DESIRABLE eCommerce distribution experience - DESIRABLE WMS experience with systems such as JDA or Manhattan - DESIRABLE In-house/Retail Distribution experience within FMCG environments - DESIRABLE Overall management responsibility for at least 15 heads or more.
