IT Development Manager / Team Leader - Oracle, Apex. Financial Services. Northwich, Cheshire - Commutable from Warrington, Macclesfield, Crewe, Chester, Runcorn. £50,000 - £55,000 pa + Great Benefits IT Systems Development Manager required by growing financial services company due to on-going success. In this role you will lead a small team of 5 other IT developer staff members, managing supporting and developing the Bank's IT applications and providing technical leadership The Role: To plan and manage development work streams, allocating and managing work for team members Contribute to the design, development, testing and implementation of software, systems and enhancements to core processing systems and platforms Provide third-line support to IT systems issues and queries Define and recommend technical solutions for projects and contribute to strategic planning activities, conducting research and acting as technical lead Produce quality documentation including proposals and reports Required Skills and Experience: Proven experience in a hands-on Development Team Leadership OR IT Manager role with decent software development background, including experience of the full software development life cycle for developing database driven business applications Experience of working with Oracle and PL/SQL is essential Experience of both Windows and Linux platforms (good general infrastructure support knowledge and awareness) Systems and UAT testing: Experience of creating and executing rigorous system test plans Exposure to Agile and/or more traditional development methodologies Change management experience, able to plan and co-ordinate multiple complex change activities including liaison with other business staff Desirable: Oracle APEX development experience SAP Business Objects experience / knowledge Microsoft SQL Server knowledge Previous experience of working in a Financial Institution The Person: Logical thinker with strong ability to problem solve The ability to work under own initiative and to deadlines Meticulous and thorough in approach and a good team player Ability to communicate technical details effectively and professionally with staff from all levels Please send CV now and call Tim Morris on (phone number removed) to find out more IT Development Manager / Team Lead - Oracle, Apex.
