About the company and role: I'm pleased to be supporting a long-standing client of mine in the new appointment of an Architect to join their team. With this role you will be joining a successful team of Architects, Technicians and Designers where you will act as a main contributor towards their success. The firm's current and past workload covers the Residential, Retail and Commercial sectors but it would be essential that the candidate has previous extensive Residential experience. The successful candidate will have management experience and be confident in leading a team through all stages of the projects. The role will require the candidate to not only balance the delivering of the projects but also play a key role in the running of the business. AutoCAD and Revit experience would be essential. To be an Architect you must: Be ARB Registered. Have at least 5-10 years UK based experience post qualification and a full understanding of the UK planning policies and building regulations. Be knowledgeable in Revit and AutoCAD. Have extensive Residential project experience. Have the initiative to work successfully as an individual but also able to work as a team. Have excellent communication skills both verbally and written. Be able to multi task when running the design stages of projects but also have the ability to support in the running of the business.Whilst working as an Architect you will be: Liaising with other clients, contractors and other work professionals. Ensuring that all deadlines are met to a high standard of work. Working predominantly in key residential sectors. Responsible for project management. Responsible for the partaking in the running of the business. Taking key tasks from the Director.
