Architectural/Structural Engineer Job - Sevenoaks Description * My Client is looking for a Chartered Architectural/Structural Engineer job in Sevenoaks with a strong Design bias required for this well-established Building Consultancy based in Kent. Working on a Part Time basis, preferably 2-3 days per week, this newly created position would be well suited to a candidate who has achieved RIBA Chartered Status and is now seeking part-time working hours, whilst maintaining all building skills and knowledge. Responsibilities * The ability to travel across the South East, assessing architectural requirements needed for Residential, Commercial, and Industrial properties, helping to design and manage conversions, adaptations and site investigations all form key elements of this role. Evaluating the prototypes/drawings developed by architects for buildings and systems construction, making recommendations on how to comply with codes and H & S standards, to boost efficiency and manage costs against budget, all in line with customer requirement. Qualifications * As a Chartered Architectural/Structural Engineer, you will combine your knowledge of building systems, structural, electrical, mechanical, lighting, acoustics and fire protection all play a pivotal role in the final success and outcome of works. Job Benefits Happy to consider either a Contractor or PAYE employee, the salary/day rate is open to negotiation, based on experience. This position is long term and will sit firmly in the decision-making team. You will need access to your own transport, due to the locations between client sites plus the ability to meet at short notice should customers seek advice. Car allowance is offered as a benefit, further complimented by 25 days holiday (pro rata), payment of all professional fees, training and costs covered for all certificates.
