A highly skilled Senior Hardware Design Engineer Job has come up to join my client who is a global leader in developing ruggedized embedded computing for the aerospace/defence sector, based in Based in Hampshire, Southampton, my client's portfolio includes digital signal processing architectures which achieve real-time signal analysis across extreme broadband radio frequencies, the location is commutable from Salisbury, Andover, Waterlooville, Chilworth, Winchester, Fareham, Eastleigh and Hythe With a high investment in research and development, several on-going projects and substantial growth, my client are looking to recruit a Senior Hardware Design Engineer to join their R&D department. This Senior Hardware Design Engineer Job will be responsible for technical and project leadership and the leading of a cross-functional team of engineers working on the development of high-performance Graphic Cards, Sensor Processing products and Network Switches. The successful applicant with be happy to embrace a culture of outstanding team work as well as the ability to work under own direction. This Senior Hardware Design Engineer Job will have extensive skills in Hardware development and be a good influencer and communicator. Self-motivation and good organisation are essential. Requirements for the Senior Hardware Design Engineer Job: -BSc/MSc degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent knowledge/experience. -Experienced in the design and development of embedded electronics. -Development of FPGAs using VHDL -Experience of design using Multi-core/Multi GHz SoC processor architectures -High speed memory interfaces (DDR4) -High speed serial interfaces (5GHz+) -Interest/background in Military/Aerospace sector. - This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established, highly profitable company investing heavily in R&D.
