Train Cleaner, Bristol

As Train Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards of trains, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for passengers and staff. This role plays a crucial part in the overall maintenance and appearance of trains, contributing to a positive customer experience.

Working 4 on 4 off 08:00am to 17:00pm

• Perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain a tidy environment inside the train
• Inspect and report any damages, graffiti, or vandalism to the appropriate authorities for prompt resolution
• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies as needed, ensuring that all necessary materials are on hand to perform daily tasks
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a secure work environment
• Follow procedures for handling and disposing of cleaning chemicals and materials

• You must have Right to Work in the UK
• Previous experience in cleaning would be advantageous
• You will have strong communication skills
• Willingness to work night and weekend shifts

• You will need to pass a medical and drug and alcohol test prior to starting in this role
• You will also be required to complete a Local Track Safety Awareness (LTSA) training course
