This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Personal Assistant to join a leading national law firm.

Our Property Litigation lawyers advise a variety of public and private sector clients on contentious property and litigation matters. Our clients include central Government bodies, social housing providers, local authorities, secured lenders, NHS bodies, higher education institutions, property developers, and management companies.

Our Business Support Services department is the organisational hub of the firm, delivering an efficient service to our lawyers and clients, ensuring that the firm runs smoothly.

This role involves providing an essential personal assistance service to the Property Litigation team.

Based in our Bristol office, with hybrid working available.

The role
  • Be involved in the planning of daily activities across the Property Litigation team
  • Diary management
  • Play a key role in the care of our clients
  • Take internal and external telephone queries
  • Monitor incoming post and emails
  • Arrange meetings, booking conference rooms, and liaising with internal and external attendees
  • Assist with the billing and credit control process
  • Carry out administrative support such as photocopying, printing, sending letters, organising couriers and data entry
  • Electronic filing and record keeping
  • Support marketing activities such as pitch and presentation preparation
  • Liaise with Business Development and Marketing colleagues on arrangements for events and producing marketing material
  • Please note that this role does not involve dictation/typing
What we are looking for from you
  • Previous experience as a Personal Assistant, preferably within a law firm
  • A working knowledge of Word, Outlook and Excel
  • An organised individual who can work to deadlines and prioritise own workload effectively
  • Enthusiastic, pro-active and flexible
  • Willing to contribute and support others as part of a team
  • Confident verbal and written communication skills

We operate a hybrid working model based on the needs of our clients, teams and people. Our core business hours are 9am - 5:15pm Monday to Friday, but we're open to our people working more flexibly around those times and welcome a conversation with you if you have any questions about this.
