HGV CLASS 2 DRIVER– NEW PASSES WELCOME – BRISTOL People Solutions are currently recruiting for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our well-established client based in Bristol and the surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, ongoing work, and long-term progression for bothexperienced and newly qualified drivers.This role would suit candidates with experience as a LGV Class 2 Driver, Category C Driver, Truck Driver, Rigid Driver or Delivery Driver. Shift Pattern• Monday to Friday • 06:00am starts Salary • £29,000 – £35,000 per annum Benefits As an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will receive:• Excellent rates of pay • Ongoing work with full training and support • Weekly pay • New passes accepted • Immediate starts available • Company discounts after qualifying period • Staff canteen and free onsite parking • Employee wellbeing programme Day-to-DayDutiesAs an HGV Class 2 Driver, your duties will include:• Delivering metals throughout the South West of England using dedicated delivery routes • Operating a range of vehicles including 7.5t, 18t and 26t vehicles • Ensuring deliveries are completed safely and on time • Vehicles will be pre-loaded with unloading completed via customerforklifts• Completing loading and unloading duties safely and accurately • Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting defects • Adhering to all road safety and traffic regulations • Maintaining accurate delivery paperwork and records • Communicating effectively with dispatch, customers, and site staffEssential Skills To be successful as an HGV Class 2 Driver, you will need:• A valid UK Category C Licence • A valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card • No more than six penalty points for minor offences • No IN, DR, DD or CD endorsement codes • Reliable, professional, and punctual attitude• Good communication and customer service skills • Good understanding of road safety and compliance Desirable Experience • Previous commercial or multi-drop delivery experience • Experience handling large or bulky goods • Good customer-facing experience Training • Fullindustry-related training provided• Ongoing support and development throughout your assignment Apply If you are ready to join a respected logistics business offering strong pay, stability, and genuine opportunities for growth, apply today by clicking the link below or contact our recruitment team for more information.
